I grew up in the San Joaquin Valley on a ranch with horses, cows, and chickens. My Saturdays were filled with walking, exploring nature and observing the many beautiful creatures around the property, especially the birds. These memories are always with me and in my heart when I paint. I feel that I am an interpreter of the natural world and outer world, absorbing  the energies and feelings that surround the many vibrations all around us.

Art has always been a meaningful part of my life. Both of my parents were artists, so it was a natural atmosphere in our home to see many canvases around and have piano and vocal lessons daily, if not weekly.

Porcelain painting was my first introduction to a transformative art form. I always admired beautiful porcelain pieces. I was obsessed to learn the lost art form, so I poured my heart into it.

I have spent 30 years painting on porcelain and canvas, creating miniature oil paintings daily and honing my craft. Thousands of pieces were hand painted for five star hotels, plus special commissions for heads of states and museums. I have loved every minute of that journey.

Now my heart has opened to a new art form. I wanted to delve deep, fly and soar! These collections are the result of a lifetime of discipline, patience, and authentic expression. Creating these mixed media watercolor paintings and working with the energy of water has opened up a new and exciting  world. These pieces of art all carry with them the imagination of dreams, messages, wisdom, passion, introspection and life.

Enjoy the journey… May my art bring beauty, excitement, peace, and wonder into your environment!

Love,

These Collections are an artistic expression of my true essence and spirit.
